This Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30pm will continue our Living in Christ (LinC) programming for Middle, High & just recently graduated students. Our goal is twice a month, bi-weekly, to have fun through lessons, games, activities & conversations. We want to offer something for our older students to do this as a form of escape during this crazy pandemic; and to build and establish relationships with both their peers and through Christ. Our programming will be online via Zoom. Click this link:
Question of the Day:
How are older adults in your community dealing with the Pandemic? Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 10:23-24 |
SELFLESS LOVE
Teens get a bad wrap for being selfish and inconsiderate of others. This behavior is due in part to their developing brain chemistry and hormones, but perhaps it’s also because this is the expectation and assumption adults have of them. Either way, teenagers often are labeled as self-absorbed. However, recently there have been several teenagers busy proving they are quite the opposite during this pandemic. Please bring a Bible or Bible app, paper, pens. We'll have hands on activities, explore destinations, and play a game through Zoom. Wednesday Evening at 6:30pm to join us. See you then!!
If you have any questions or concerns about this program feel free to reach out to Tamera Albert (tamera@gracesiouxcity.org) or Myself (brock@gracesioxcity.org) or call the church at (712) - 276 - 3452. Thank you very much and God Bless!! |
