Life in the Spirit

Encounter Lesson 3:
September 27th 2020

Twenty-One:
The objective of Twenty-One is to be to be "In Sync" with someone
1.) Go up to a friend or relative & Say, "One"
2.) Don't say anything else. (If they respond with anything other than "Two", start over with saying, "One")
3.) See how long/many times you need to say "One" before they catch on.
4-Part 1.) If they don't catch on after several tries, give up and try again some other time, once you think they've forgotten about it.
4-Part 2.) If they DO catch on and respond with "Two", you then respond with "Three". See if you can continue to go back & forth with them until you reach "Twenty-One".
5.) Fill out the questions below under Twenty-One

EMOJI Charades-
A Fun Game for the Whole Family

For this game you will need two smartphones. They must be the same type of phone---both Android phones or both Apple phones. You will also need to designate someone as the leader.

This game is like charades, but you will be acting out emojis instead of words. The first thing you will need to do is break into two teams. Choose a team member to act out an emoji chosen by the leader. You will have 30 seconds to act out the emoji. You may not speak. You can only use actions.

Teams may discuss their answer, but can only guess one time by entering the emoji on the phone. If the first team is wrong, the other team may steal the point.

You will alternate turns until one team reaches six points.

Key Verse

The gospel... is God's own power for salvation to all who have faith in God. -- Romans 1:16

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN

  • What is a job you think you would never do?
  • Where is place you think you would never live?
  • What is a hobby you think you would never pursue?

Key Verse

Ananias..placed his hands on Saul and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord sent me--Jesus, who appeared to you on the way as you were coming here. He sent me so that you could see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit." --Acts 9:17
