REV. TIMOTHY BONNEY
APPOINTED TO GRACE
Bishop Trimble has appointed Rev. Timothy Bonney as the Senior Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church effective July 1, 2012. Rev. Bonney has been the Associate Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls Iowa since July 2010. Rev. Booney's passions for ministry include preaching, worship leadership, and worship planning. His ministry has also included a strong emphasis in envisioning and planning, pastoral care, hospital visitation, and mission leadership and participation. He has also led in worshp both in traditional and contemporary worship formats through singing and particiapation in church choirs and praise groups, choral direction and playing guitar in First UMC's praise band. Rev. Bonney and his wife Michelle have a daughter Katie who is attending Iowa State University.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2012
“Operation Overboard—Dare To Go Deep With God!” June 10th—June 14th from 5:30pm-8:00pm
Dive in and discover God’s underwater universe! Explore the depths of God’s Word at Vacation Bible School 2012 “Operation Overboard – Dare To Go Deep With God!”
In this action-packed adventure, children will swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. Through interactive lessons that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, they will “go deep” into God’s Word, exploring Bible stories of people who revealed deep faith by knowing how to: Depend on God, Dare to care, Claim Jesus, Choose to follow & Change the world.
