Wedding Fees
All the following fees must be paid by members and non-members prior to the wedding date. Please mail your payment to the Church Office or give your payment to the officiating pastor or the Church Office Staff. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID TO THE CHURCH OFFICE BEFORE THE REHEARSAL OR THE REHEARSAL MAY BE CANCELLED.
Use of Church Building:
(equipment and utilities)
Members and Morningside University Students and Alumni (who have graduated in the past three years):
Sanctuary - $125.00 Chapel - $50.00
Non-Members
Sanctuary - $500.00 Chapel - $200.00
Reception:
If the reception is at the church, an additional use of church fee is as follows:
Fellowship Hall - $100.00
Parlor - (if Fellowship Hall not available) $50.00
Personnel Fees:
Wedding Coordinator - $150.00 (Required for all weddings)
Organist: Wedding couple should make direct contact with an organist and arrange for the fee.
Clergy Fee:
Members: No Honorarium Expected
All Non-Members - $200.00 for all non-members. Covers counseling, wedding planning, rehearsal and the wedding ceremony.
Sound Technician - $50.00 total fee for Microphone setup and use only.
- $100 Fee if the Sound Tech is asked to play CDs for the wedding ceremony.
Custodian:
Sanctuary - $75.00
Reception in Fellowship Hall:
1-100 persons - $75.00
101-200 - $100.00
201-300- $125.00
Chapel - $50.00
Reception in Parlor - $75.00
Grace United Methodist Church, 1735 Morningside Avenue, Sioux City, Iowa 712-276-3452.
Church membership is determined on the date the initial request was made to Grace UMC to schedule the wedding.
